Fight, it's good!

There are those love-some, ravishing days that are welcomed by all and then the hideous ones involving meaningless grilling arguments and hours of fights. This pretty much defines almost any relation.  However, lasting are only those that sail through smoothly despite all the turbulence. Conflict is a natural part of having an intimate bond. The bumpy road of heated discussion followed by repair is the route to a deeper connection. As you come back to each other after a fight, with words of contrition and forgiveness, you often strengthen your relation in due course. Fights can be good, they can allow you to discuss problems and resolve issues; however, letting what irritates you simmer until it boils over into a big argument is never healthy. Therefore it is best to speak up and maintain complete transparency, convey what disturbs you and let the other person know what is keeping you low. It is only then that a mutual settlement can be made, keeping in mind the best interests of both and a fresh chapter be unveiled in the book of life.

2014 - A Fresh Start!

As another eventful year comes to an end,
There are innumerous things I wish I could mend,
Couple of situations I want to rewind,
Few answers I regret I couldn't find.

360 days when I didn't thank God for His kindness,
And mere 4 days when I prayed to him out of selfishness,
Few mornings when I woke up to praise the sun shining,
Rather more such morns when I dragged outta bed,
whining.

Seldom were the days when I regarded
others' sorrow above my laments,
& even fewer the days when I thanked my parents,
Never on a winter eve did I think
of the unfortunate as I put on my fur jacket,
& hardly a day when I thought of the handicapped
as I held my tennis racket.

But as the approaching new year stretches out to me,
I firmly hold its hand with new zeal and glee,
'coz what I'd missed last year due to life's mess,
I wouldn't this time so there's more of joy
and regrets less.

Stay Young. Stay Happy!

We live in a strange world. When we’re young, we’re encouraged and eager to grow up really fast. Then, as we get older, we’re encouraged to do everything humanly possible to stay young!
Despite the fact that everyone is trying to force you to grow up rapidly, there’s no need to buy in the way. You’ll be an adult a lot longer than you’ll be a teen. So enjoy your teenage because despite all the little hardships this age puts you in, it’ll always be the best few years of your wonderful life.

Anguish Of The Heart!

I often fly to the past,
a sweet picture runs before my eyes,
Gradually the picture blurs, fades away,
And silently my heart cries.
I ponder I've traversed a long way
From that lovely past to the lonely present
& without those hands firmly gripping mine
I feel like a full moon reduced to crescent.
Its ironical how life has its own story
of joining paths and a million heartbreaks
Insane is the heart that loves,
Despite the heartaches.

Happiness Check!

"Happiness often sneaks in through a door you didn't know you left opened."

Most bucket lists include things like, "Go on an adventure in a far-off land," "Learn a new language,
" or "Buy a dream car." Although all these experiences can make our lives more exciting, the reason we crave these activities goes a little deeper. What drives each of these desires is one common connector, an innate yearning to belong and to feel love . When we do what we love, we become an expression of love and our happiness is infectious.
In the spirit of loving life to the fullest, I've revised my list of things to do before I die. These seemingly simple acts have transformed my life. What it comes down to is not how long your life is, but how wide you live it.
Here are 30 things to do before you die:
1. Stop worrying about debt.
2. Forgive your ex-lovers.
3. Stop trying to control your outcome.
4. Look in the mirror and love yourself unconditionally.
5. Leave the job you hate.
6. Find your purpose and live it full heartedly.
7. Adopt a furry friend.
8. Don't feel guilty for holiday weight gain.
9. Trust that everything is in right order.
10. Travel to the place you keep thinking about.
11. Try something that scares you daily.
12. Be open to change.
13. Let go of your past.
14. Stop trying to change people.
15. Stop looking for answer outside of yourself.
16. Stop thinking you did something wrong.
17. Be your weird, crazy, beautiful self.
18. Follow your heart.
19. Risk everything for love.
20. Reject rejection.
21. See the world as a beautiful, safe, and loving place.
22. See everyone as equals.
23. Give up excessive attachments to stuff.
24. Recognize the journey is the reward.
25. Stay hopeful and optimistic in difficult situations.
26. Welcome all life lessons.
27. See the opportunities in every challenge rather than give up.
28. Live your values.
29. Inspire others by your own bigness.
30. Play with the world.
